NEW HOPE – AINA

Founded in 2008, New Hope – AINA provides healthcare, education, and housing to HIV positive children and the greater community. Under the guidance of AINA (The Italian Association of Nomads of Love), New Hope – AINA  is home to over 100 HIV positive children. In partnership with the non-profit organization DREAM, New Hope – AINA provides outpatient care to residents and over 300 individuals in the local community. Paolo Academy, New Hope – AINA’s primary school, serves our children and an additional 350 students from the community.

OUR WORK

Working in collaboration with AINA and DREAM, March to the Top provides financial and operational support to New Hope – AINA.  As the second largest such home for HIV positive children in Kenya, we seek to empower youth with the knowledge, skill sets and medical care necessary to become happy, healthy, productive members of their communities.

WHY IT MATTERS

Every year an average of 89,000 adults and about 11,000 children are infected with HIV in Kenya. Many HIV positive children have been abandoned by their families and communities and have nowhere else to go. In serving both these children and the community, New Hope – AINA continues to reduce the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS while providing a safe and productive environment for our children.

“I took my children to visit the New Hope Orphanage in Kenya and it touched our hearts. March to the Top does incredible work, with love and transparency.”

– Brian Grazer
