Bringing HIV care to those who need it most

D.R.E.A.M. (Disease Relief through Excellent and Advanced Means) works to stem the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Sub-Saharan Africa. By establishing small health centers in rural areas, DREAM overcomes the economic and transportation barriers faced by local communities.

Current programs provide services in 46 community health centers in Sub-Saharan Africa, ten of which are located in Kenya. One of these centers was created in partnership with New Hope – AINA and provides services to the children of the home, school, and the local Meru community.

Our Work

Medication, treatment, and care at New Hope – AINA

March to the Top works with DREAM to provide medication and healthcare to the residents of New Hope – AINA. The center also provides services to the greater community — delivering medication, treatment, and supplemental food to individuals living with HIV.

Working in close collaboration with DREAM staff, New Hope – AINA nurses provide comprehensive services to the children and the local community, bridging a critical gap that government services alone cannot fill.

Why It Matters

The gap between diagnosis and care can cost lives

Although the Kenyan government provides antiretroviral medications, it is unable to provide the clinical services necessary to diagnose infection, distribute medication, or deliver auxiliary services to patients in need.

Through our partnership with DREAM, March to the Top works to close that gap — ensuring that people living with HIV in underserved communities have access to the care, medication, and support they deserve.
